SunValleyTek
Challenge
SunValleyTek Group approached CRISPx with the goal of diversifying its sales channels from primarily Amazon to big-box US stores such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Best Buy, and more. The challenge for SunValleyTek was that although the ecommerce packaging was functional and simple, it lacked the shelf appeal that would speak to corporate buyers and consumers.
Solution
The CRISPx design team conducted competitive audits in-store and online to determine the current retail landscape of packaging. The CRISPx design team then came up with appealing packaging designs that adhered to SunValleyTek’s brands, TaoTronics, RAVPower, and VAVA. With the help of CRISPx’s packaging designs, SunValleyTek was successful in entering the US retail market.
Individual Contribution
As part of the CRISPx design team / Visual Designer:
I came up with the book-style packaging concept and the hat box packaging concept for earbuds and headphones for TaoTronics.
I worked in conjunction with CRISPx Creative Director, Francois Matus, on packaging concepts for lamps, diffusers, dash cams, other earbuds, power banks, and wireless chargers. I also prepared design files for CMYK print, holographic separation, and spot UV application.
